Books are personal things so it's always best to choose the ones that call you.
If you're looking for inspiration, we've put together a fairly comprehensive booklist for you to choose from available through our favourite indie bookstore, Fred's of Ambleside. If you're not in the area, they have an online service too. Witches always prefer to support small businesses!
If you'd like recommendations, here's a couple:
Witches, Witch-Hunting and Women - Sylvia Federici
-This is a summary of her main book, Caliban and the Witch and a much easier read. It helps us understand and think about how the Witch Hunts may still impact us today.
The Witches of Culross - Rowan Morrison
-an evocative historical fiction that will take you back in time to experience the reality of life for our ancestors during the 1600's in Scotland. (Self-published on Amazon).
