The Wisewoman Way

A Map to a Meaningful Menopause

Are you...

  • Navigating peri-menopause or menopause and struggling with all the change and the intense symptoms that can arise — physically, emotionally, or mentally?

  • Feeling the loss of who you used to be — your energy, your roles, your sense of yourself — without yet knowing who you are becoming?

  • Looking for help to embrace your menopause transition positively and know there is something new on the other side?

If so, you already know that menopause is not an ending — it is an Initiation!

The Wisewoman Way

A transformational pathway through menopause into power, clarity, and wisdom

Menopause is not a problem to be fixed. It is a profound threshold — a biological, emotional, and spiritual initiation that has been misunderstood, medicalised, and largely stripped of its meaning in our modern culture.

The Wisewoman Way is a grounded, archetypal pathway for women who sense that this life stage is calling them into something deeper: more truth, more authority, more freedom, and a different way of living.

This pathway draws on ancient wisdom, modern psychology, trauma-informed practice, and decades of lived and facilitated experience working with women. It offers a clear, steady map through the inner landscape of menopause — not as decline, but as a powerful new life chapter of becoming.

Working with the Wisewoman Archetypes...

Across cultures and throughout history, women have marked this important transition.

The post-menopausal woman was recognised as seer, healer, truth-speaker, guide, and elder — one who no longer lived to please or perform, but to play a leadership role and ensure the survival of the community through the wisdom of lived experience.

The Wisewoman archetypes are not ideas to aspire to. They are innate capacities that awaken through menopause when they are understood, supported, and consciously embodied.

Working with archetypes gives us:

  • Language for experiences that are otherwise confusing or overwhelming

  •  A map for the emotional and spiritual terrain of menopause

  • Permission to release old identities without panic or shame

  • A way to reclaim authority, intuition, and self-trust

Rather than asking “What’s wrong with me?”, archetypal work invites the deeper question: “Who am I becoming now?”

A grounded, trauma-aware approach...

The Wisewoman Way is not spiritual bypassing, self-improvement, or positive thinking.

It recognises that menopause often activates:

  • Unresolved grief and loss

  • Suppressed anger and truth

  • Old trauma stored in the body as confusion, anxiety and even terror

  • Exhaustion from decades of emotional labour

This pathway is designed to meet women where they actually are — physically, emotionally, and relationally — with practices that are nervous-system aware, embodied, and respectful of personal pace.

You will not be pushed to “rise above” your experience. Instead, you will be supported to listen, integrate, and reclaim what has been waiting beneath the surface.

What becomes possible...

Women who walk the Wisewoman Way often describe:

  • A deep sense of inner steadiness and self-trust

  • Relief from the pressure to be who they were

  • Clearer boundaries and cleaner relationships

  • Renewed creativity and vision

  • Confidence in speaking truth — without apology

  • A felt sense of purpose for the years ahead

This is not about becoming harder or more detached. It is about becoming rooted, clear, and sovereign — able to meet life as it is, and shape it consciously.

Are you ready to walk the Wisewoman Way?

Every woman’s journey is unique.

The Wisewoman Way offers four options for walking this path. Choose whichever one calls you most...

The Wisewoman Way

An 8 month in-person journey for Peri-menopausal and Menopausal women held at The Witches' House of Healing Arts, The Storey, Lancaster.

Menopause can feel like a threshold you were never taught to cross — a time of intense symptoms, identity shifts, old wounds rising, and an unspoken sense that something deep is calling you onward.

The Wisewoman Way is designed for women who are ready to move beyond simply "coping" into an approach of conscious initiation — to integrate the emotional, psychological, and creative transitions of menopause with clarity, embodied resilience, and a reclaimed sense of authority.

Through embodied practice, archetypal teaching, ritual, reflection, and shared witnessing, you'll be supported to meet this threshold consciously and reclaim the authority, clarity, and creative life force that menopause is designed to awaken. This is not about fixing yourself, but about learning how to walk this passage with meaning, and power.

Spaces are limited to 12 for safe holding.
The programme begins Saturday 11 April 2026 and runs for 8 months.

The Wisewoman Way Online Course

An 8-month online journey through the emotional, spiritual, and creative transition of menopause.

Menopause often brings intense physical symptoms alongside emotional upheaval, identity shifts, and a quiet questioning of how you have been living. Without context or guidance, it can feel disorienting — as though something essential is unravelling without a map.

The Wisewoman Way Online offers a grounded, self-paced journey through the world of the Wisewoman archetypes, giving you language, structure, and perspective for this transition. Through clear teaching, reflective practices, and guided inquiry, the archetypes help you understand what is being shed, what is emerging, and how to meet this life stage with steadiness rather than self-doubt. This programme is not about pushing through or fixing symptoms, but about learning to walk menopause as a meaningful passage — one that can reshape your relationship to yourself, your body, and your future.
